It has really been a labour of love
Initially when we bought the flat, we lived there for more than a month before we planned for the rebuild. Figuring out how the light travels through the rooms and how to make the most of the small spaces. What should be altered and what kept to improve the quality daily life in our little sanctuary.
We used colours based on our nordic heretage, both of us growing up by the sea, and brought these into mix with the chalet style. Turns out that our contemporary scandinavian design pieces fits just perfectly with Swiss mountain life.
FLOOR PLAN:
A wise man once said that “Less is More” and I agree indeed. Although its less than 70 square meters it is layed out very well..
Spacious, for its size, the hallway with open cabinet for overcoats, boots and baskets leads into the combined dining and living area with semi open kitchen. Fully fitted and newly refurbished in 2019 the kitchens has all what is needed to prepare a cosy dinner.
The balcony stretches all along the width of the flat and is south west facing – so there is sun for most of the day. As it is partially covered its possible to sit outside all year, weather permitting ofcourse, and enjoy the view of the skislopes and mountains. A perfect sundowner balcony with a beatiful view of the La Videmanette mountains.
A good sized master bedroom with large cabinets and ensuite bathroom with tub. The refurbished guestroom has a built-in queen size bed with storage underneath and cabinet. Across the hall is the second small bathroom with shower.
